Haworthia 'Variegated' Cymbiformis
Haworthia cymbiformis 'Variegata' is a captivating variety of the classic Haworthia, distinguished by its striking variegated foliage. Native to South Africa.
Growth Habit: Haworthia cymbiformis 'Variegata' forms compact rosettes that can grow up to 4 inches in diameter. The plant typically grows slowly and maintains a neat, clump-forming habit, which makes it perfect for container gardening or as part of a mixed succulent display.
Leaf Characteristics: The leaves are the standout feature of this plant. They are thick, fleshy, and boat-shaped (cymbiform), with a translucent quality that allows light to penetrate and highlight their inner structures.
Indoor Gardening: Ideal for growing on windowsills, in terrariums, or under grow lights where its small size and light requirements are easily managed.
Container Gardens: Perfect for small pots, especially in arrangements with other succulents where its distinctive texture and coloration can complement other plants.
Low Light Tolerance: Unlike many succulents, Haworthia cymbiformis 'Variegata' can thrive in lower light conditions, making it well-suited for indoor environments.
Drought Tolerance: It requires minimal watering, making it very drought-resistant and ideal for those who prefer low-maintenance plants.
NOTE: Haworthia do like to have up to 70% shade or filtered light and its a good idea if they are kept in pots and re pot at least once per year.
