Senecio 'Blue Chalk Sticks' is a striking succulent known for its vibrant blue-green foliage and hardy growing nature. This Senecio variety, often referred to by its botanical name Senecio mandraliscae, features long, slender leaves that resemble chalky sticks, giving it a distinctive texture and color that enhances any garden setting.

The most remarkable feature of Senecio 'Blue Chalk Sticks' is its intense blue-green, cylindrical leaves that are covered in a waxy coating, helping them retain moisture. The leaves are densely packed on sprawling stems, creating a lush, ground-cover effect.

This plant is a fast grower and can spread extensively, reaching up to 2 feet in width and 12-18 inches in height. Its spreading habit makes it ideal for covering large areas, providing a continuous carpet of color.

As a succulent, Senecio 'Blue Chalk Sticks' is extremely drought-tolerant, making it an excellent choice for xeriscaped gardens and other water-wise landscapes. Prefers full sun but can tolerate partial shade.
