Growth Habit: Jatropha podagrica features a pronounced, swollen caudex at the base of its stem, which serves as a water reservoir.With a shrubby growth habit, Jatropha podagrica can reach heights of about 3 to 6 feet (1 to 2 meters) under optimal conditions.

Leaf Characteristics: The leaves of the Jatropha podagrica are bright green, glossy, and lobed, resembling the shape of a maple leaf.Characterized by its bright green leaves, which can vary in size and typically feature three to seven lobes radiating from a central point, Jatropha podagrica boasts a visually stunning aesthetic.
