Crassula ovata 'Gollum', also known as 'Gollum Jade' or 'Hobbit’s Pipe Jade', is a quirky and distinctive succulent that is a cultivar of the common Jade Plant (Crassula ovata).
Growth Habit: Crassula ovata 'Gollum' grows as a small, shrubby succulent that can reach up to 3 feet in height when mature. Its thick, woody stems support many branches, creating a dense, bushy appearance.
Leaf Characteristics: The most striking feature of 'Gollum' Jade are its leaves. They are elongated, tubular, and often curved, with a glossy texture and deep green color.
Flowers: In the right conditions, typically during the cooler months of late fall or early winter, Crassula ovata 'Gollum' produces small, star-shaped, pink or white flowers.
Outdoor Landscaping: In mild climates, it can be used in rock gardens, succulent gardens, or as ground cover, where it adds texture and interest.
