Melocactus, commonly referred to as the Turk's Cap cactus, is a fascinating and visually striking member of the cactus family.

Distinctive Shape: Melocactus has a globular to cylindrical green body that can grow up to 12 inches in height. The body is ribbed and spiny, typical of many cacti.

Flowers and Fruit: The Turk's Cap cactus produces small, pink to reddish flowers that emerge from the cephalium during the warm months.

Light: Requires full sun to partial shade.
