Agave xylonacantha, also known as the Saw Leaf Agave, is a striking succulent noted for its distinctive, sharply toothed leaves and architectural form. Native to Mexico.
Growth Habit: Agave xylonacantha typically grows as a solitary rosette, reaching up to 2 to 3 feet in height and spreading about 3 to 4 feet wide.
Leaf Characteristics: The leaves of Agave xylonacantha are long, narrow, and deeply serrated with pronounced, saw-like teeth along the margins which give this plant its common name.
Flowers: Agave xylonacantha blooms once at the end of its life, typically after many years, producing a tall flower stalk that can reach heights of 8 to 12 feet.
