Sedum hirsutum, commonly known as the Hairy Stonecrop, is a delightful and hardy succulent that belongs to the extensive Sedum family, well-known for their resilience and diverse forms.

Growth Habit: Sedum hirsutum is a low-growing, spreading succulent that forms mats of dense, small rosettes.

Leaves: Sedum hirsutum produces clusters of small star-shaped flowers.The flowers can vary in color, ranging from white to yellow to pink, depending on the specific variety.The leaves are up to 1 cm long, elliptic, flattened above, pubescent and light green.

Uses:Ground Cover: Sedum hirsutum is excellent for use as a ground cover in sunny areas where other plants might struggle. It helps stabilize the soil and provides year-round greenery.

Rock and Alpine Gardens: Its ability to grow in rocky, poor soil makes it perfect for rock.

Advantages:Drought Tolerance: Like most sedums, Sedum hirsutum is highly drought-tolerant, making it ideal for xeric and water-wise gardens.
